Bernietg you can call the MOCO customer service # 414-343-4056 and ask for Peter Simet. I just did that and verified a vin on a sporty.
Just wish I had the money to get it, but now it's gone.
I have one. FX. I have the original tin, ,manual and an email exchange with the senior archivist for HD verifying it's authenticity. Original exhaust and somewhere the original BOS. I have been the custodian of this bike for about 6 years. I would like to pass it on to a new custodian that would respect the reasons for it's existance. The bile is located in North Carolina.

And what would said custodian need to pay for such an honor? I love the Confederate bikes.
Looks great -- 1st one I have seen on the net that I can actually talk to some one. Been looking for several years wondering if I run up on someone else with one.
You fix it back or is it original?
We got em in Texas, fly them in our front yard, and have them on our truck.
It is very original not a reconstruction. Have the original pipes. A surviver not a restore which to me is better.
I also have quite a bit of documentation on the bike plus the email logs where the attys told my contact at HD he couldn't talk about it anymore. Funny.

That's good. 14 years ago Mine was a real Jewel ( pic below) when I got it.. Did not even know what it was until 4 or 5 years after I got it. Guy gave me the original tank top left in pic, but it did not mean anything to me at the time.
Just been and on going slow back to " close " stock.. Kinda hard since it is my only bike and I ride it all the time. Did two 1000 mile trips this year.
