a buddy saw an Amen Savior frame last fall and was asking me if I had ever seen such a thing, had to tell him that they had been around almost 40 year's here a pic. that I found on the net for those that don't know what youre talking about.

I think it destroys the look. They are ugly looking in my opinion.

Triumph did well enough with a sprung hub before they started making a swingarm frame. One problem they had was that the wheel moved vertically instead of following an arc like a swingarm. This did bad things to the chain tension.

Triumph,BSA,BMW, Indians all had plunger frames at one time or another.
