Question here, friend of mine purchased a custom bike, it doesn't have an key lock, the starter button is on the starter, NO off and on switch, is there an after market key ignition he can mount some where around the seat, frame, to secure his bike?
Also he has a Rev-Tech engine the starter is out, I told him he probably needs manual compression releases otherwise he will be replacing the starter on a regular basis, I first told him to check the compression first to make sure, anyone agree with that statement?
What size engine and was he using a 1.4 KW starter or bigger ? manual comp releases are supper but one can try a good high KW starter and a battery that has CCA near 600 say for 6 plus seconds Also what ign is he running ?
Spykes firestryke compression release plugs would look pretty cool on a custom bike and you could hide a switch to kill ignition instead of a key that may look ugly on the bike. Relays are also fun to install. I have seen magnetic invisible switches on bikes before but I have never seen them for sale. Is it an open belt primary? My closed belt BDL is possessed so I hope he doesn't have anything bdl. Get a photo! Good luck!
