An old friend of mine had one, don't know the model though. Other than him not being young and tough enough for anything other than short trips, he loved it. Google, easy find. https://suckerpunchsallys.com/66-bobber/

Could be a deal if you can get it cheap. It's another clone pseudo-chopper for people with too much money who value things by how much they cost, hence the absurd original prices. That happens to be great for the next buyer when they depreciate to what the market will bear! I would take a close look at the engine. Check the cases. Are they Harley, mystery aftermarket, or S&S? If S&S you can check the case serial number with customer service to determine if it was sold separately (common with clone builders) or as a complete engine. If it's not an S&S engine then the price should reflect that. It doesn't matter if it wears S&S heads. Check with S&S. Their customer service is excellent.

Pay less than you would for a contemporary Harley, because it's not a Harley nor anything special. That in no way means it won't be fun! I buy to ride, not to resell. If I wanted to make money few bikes beat an index fund. Many of these aftermarket clone bikes have good components and are worth buying for the drivetrain at current, realistic prices. That's why so many rollers turn up on Craigslist.

Not sure if you have the original version or the new buyer. I have dealt with Don for years, I’d trust his work. Not saying it’s worth the price. The amount of miles I ride, I’d never own a rigid.
