Chopper front brake won't bleed.
04 big bear chopper front brake won't build pressure - I have bled brakes MANY YEARS and this is the 1st time I have had a issue .
master cyl seems to pump fluid I. . get fluid at the bleeder on the caliper but will NOT get hard lever. pads were shot!!
I have coming
Kind of stumped !! I might have to replace all ( master and caliper ) SPENDY $$ ANY REASON for this happening. ?

Sometimes those four piston calipers with only one (or two) bleeders can get air caught in the piston that has no bleeder. You might have to take the caliper off and roll it over a bit so trapped air can bubble uphill to the bleeder location.
Othewise, you could try reverse bleeding it by hooking a large syringe full of brake fluid to the bleeder and pump the fluid uphill until it comes out the master cylinder reservoir. (empty the reservoir first!)
Another trick is to take the caliper off and untether the brake hose from any brackets etc and hang the caliper from the rafters so fluid has to travel uphill from the master cyl to the caliper bleeder. Leave it sit all night to let the air bubble upwards, then try bleeding it with the caliper still hung up there so you are pushing the air uphill all the way to the bleeder.

I have one of those one man bleeder pipes but an empty braking system cannot raise enough pressure to open the valve.
I go old school pull brake lever, open bleed screw, close brake screw, release brake lever and repeat using a pipe and jam jar.

HI I HAVE TRIED ALL OF THAT ( NOT MY FIRST RODEO ON BLEEDING ) even vacuum pumping backwards thru cap and immersing caliper in a gallon jug of dot 4 ( spendy ) but no help either i finally just now found company that mfg 'd it and ordered rebuild kit figuring rubbers must BE SHOT ? hopefully that does it
if not new master set up assy ?
thanks for the info i will re-try it
