Good evening boys and girls. I've been out of the mix for a while (10+ years) and just jumped back in by way of a sweet custom!!!
Details of my newest bike / chopper; it was built in 2015 around a new 1996 XLH 883 by Brian Elliot over at Black Sunshine Customs in Macon Illionois. The frame is from Pat over at Led Sled Customs, Darren from Liquid Illusions laid down the paint, the rear fender came from Eric at FNA Choppers, the seat was made by Jordan over at Union Speed and it floats on two air bags w/ an on-board air pump, the rear wheel (16") and front end are from Grimey, the front wheel (21") came from Eric at Empire of Rust, the air cleaner from Brent Law of Iron Craft, inc., the battery box was from Tim at KAOS Kustoms and it has Brembo brakes off of a 2000 - 2005 750cc Ducati Monster on the front and rear. From Brian's line, he added the taillight, risers and foot controls. This was a father / daughter project bike which was the daughters first "legit" ride - she learned to TIG weld on this build and actually bent the sissy bar for the project. It was featured in The Horse BackStreet Choppers #153 Aug 15': My(ia) Precious - 16-YEAR-OLD SCHOOLGIRL IS COOLER THAN YOU!!!!!!!!
I appreciate any feedback at all - both positive and negative.
Thanx for having a look!
That's a nice bike.
The rear suspension and seat, oh my, yet I still ride her all the way
the airbags with the on-board air compressor actually make it pretty cozy. I just acquired a 21 883 Iron and this chopper seat is far superior to the stock HD seats - I suppose thats not saying too much tho huh
