I am building a soft tail with a 80cc. The frame is after market from sante. I just got done fabing the bike up so we tore it down. One of the things that we are having to deal with is the brake master cylinder bracket, it did not come with the frame and i cant run a late style one that is on the controls. I need the one that is like on my fathers bike (1990 fxstc) its mounted to the frame. I was hoping i didnt have to fab one up and just buy an after market one but i cant find any one that offers one..... ANY HELP IS GOOD HELP!!!!!!!!!!
have you gone to a harley dealership to get the stock part number?
from there, you or they should be able to cross reference the part number.

oops on the ci... Any way i think my pops checked that out and they dont have that part... This is a weld on item and i dont think this comes from harley!!!!!! The stock harley frames have them welded on just as i need to do mine!!!!
ok, i get it; the frame mount *for* the m/c bracket...
try this: shops are required to cut off the necks of frames that have been replaced. ask someone in the service dept if you, or someone can cut off the part you need. you may have to call around, but i'm willing to bet you'll find a shop somewhere that would be willing to do that for you.

Well so i bought that bracket and they listed it for a fxst style bike witch if you know that has a 1 1/8 frame but the sent me a bracket that is a 1 1/4 i guess for like a bagger..... I e-mailed them and they guy had no idea what i was telling him and the he got what i was telling him and said ow yea we dont have the 1 1/8/ one...So FYI if you go threw them you might have alittle problem with them for sure on that bracket cause its listed wrong!!!
IF ANY ONE KNOWS WHERE I CAN FIND THE 1 1/8 BRACKET PLEASE SEND ME A MESSAGE THIS IS A HEAD AKE!!!!
