LS= Lundee Style. Figured she was far enough from stock it counts as custom. Bone stock about a 9 months ago. This was my first atempt at serious choppin. I modified a stock sporty tank, blank fender, built the exhaust, plate mount, jockey shift, battery box, rebuilt the tranny, did the body work and paint. Wiring, plumbing. Welded up the struts. I wanna put on a real rigid a$$ end, but wasn't sure if my old back could handle it. Gotta say this bastard rides just as nice as my lowered softy. So I might be hacking the azz off her next winter.
man , that is one sharp lookin bike ! you don't believe in leaving much room between the fender and the tire do ya ?
love the many little details , and the paint is fantastic
couple of questions... what's the tube running from the handlebars to the carb , and what is the brass (?) thing in the middle of the gas tank ? some kind of fuel gauge ?
The tube is my fuel line I didn't have hooked up yet. And ya the brass thing is a sight glass to let me know I'm about to be stranded. dmilo thanks man you got a sweet scoot yourself where the pics at?!
So I wasn't happy with the way she turned out so I'm kinda starting over. Here is my frame that we put in the jig and bent up some tubeage. And a couple pics of a tank I started from scratch-ola. I'm hoping to be a little more detailed over the next few months on the re-build.

I'm the same with with Shovels. Its either exactly the way you like it or it comes apart and you start over. Keep us updated.
Just checked out ur site bikerlaw. Looks like a damn good cause. Nice shovel too. Quick mock-up of my scoot. I've got to build a new set of pipes, stretch the fender, plate mount, flat bottom my sporty tank, build a new oil tank, got a new idea for paint. I'm thinking about doing my frame in a transparent blue. Think candy color but, w/ powder coat.
Lundee,
wow I thought your bobber was cool before but I like where this is going
the new frame lines will flow alot better and I love the new tank especially the curve on the underside great job keep us posted
