hey, just picked up my 09 spitfire little over a month ago. love the bike but have to change the handlebars. they sit way to low for me. other than that and a new paint job its perfect. have fun.
Love mine also! Let me know where you find the parts to raise the handlebars. Thanks.
cruzer01 .............Yea I was thinking about adding one to my bike and was wondering how others liked it?? any issues with yours?
I'm happy with it. It use to have some popping, but when the PC V was addend, they tuned it and now I don't have anymore popping. The power has definitely increased and it feels like it runs cooler.
Does anyone know where or how to get an owner's manual for a 2009 Thunder Mountain Cross Spitfire? I too have been looking for one.
cruzomatic, I read that someone got an owners manual at TM Harley in Colorado, maybe they still have some TMC items. Worth checking out. Good luck, let us know if you find one.
Anyone else with a Spitfire having issues with a cracked frame? @ Cruzer01 you are correct if you get on TM HD website and e-mail them you can get the owners manual shipped. Mine was $20.65 I have not received it yet but got a notification it was mailed this week.
Hello all. I picked up a 2005 blackhawk and am curious about any info on them. from what I have found online they came with a couple diff. options for power and gearbox. mine has the 5 speed but no idea on engine size. Just bought a 2013 ultra limited 110th Anv. with the 103 and this thing will run circles around it. Bro has a 13 street glide with the 103 and shut him down before I ever hit 5th. Does anyone know where or how to find out what size engine is? Got mine cheap with less than 10k miles but has salvage title. Theft recovery. got to love insurance companys. will try and get some pics up.
will try and post more pics if anyone wants. if I missed answers to my questions please forgive me. read through as quick as I could.
Does anyone ride with a windshield on longer rides? what kind do you use? When I first started riding mine I was very determined to put one on but the more I ride I dont need one for little runs, but think when I do decide to make a good run I want a little one at least.
Has anyone adjusted the shocks? mine bottoms out real easy but dont know which way to turn them. Havent spent much time under it to really find any arrows or marks to tell where they are set and which way to turn.

I have or had a cracked frame on mine in 3 locations. I got it back from the welder today fixing the cracks and reinforced it with additional bracing. This is an obvious problem with our bikes. PLEASE....check your bikes TM owners. This is a safety issue that can cost you your life and/or the life of others. I'll post pics soon of the cracks on mine and the repair job that was done.
I've sent TM an email asking for an manual and haven't heard anything back??? Any others options in which to explore?
I've been looking at the Blackhawk 240 and I was wondering how the bike handled. The front ends rake is mild compared to the Keystone, but I don't have any experience riding anything with that degree of rake to it.
Also can anyone tell me the difference between the Blackhawk and the Bad Attitudes?
In response to the thunder mountain bikes, i have owned my 2006 black hawk 240 for 2 years now. Shipped to decatur il from florida for under 14000.00. the best bike i have ever owned. I purchased this bike with under 6000 miles on it, and now pushing 12000, and i am very impressed. Screamn eagle 103 with vance and hines pipes, hyper charger air cleaner, good up to 130 horse and the carb dialed in to match. As of now,96 horse and 100 ft.lbs of tq. More yet to come
