I've looked at so many Sportster frame photos my eyes are going buggy and they hurt. I dig the lines on this bike and want to start with that identical frame. Does anybody have a best guess as to who makes it? My eyes thank you.

Thanks Ole T, but I looked at all the offering from Paughco and Santee and they aren't the same. I'm starting to wonder if it's a custom. It looks like the top tube is straight from the headstock to the seat, and the gusseting at the headstock is one on each side rather than one in the middle. Here's another shot of the same bike, but this one was tweaked by Jason Cruz.
Yep, you're right about the single gusset.
Bought a "Frisco" from a Blue Knight back in the 70s, kinda looks similier. But no info on Google search except tanks. From my memory it had a gusset plate on each side but no clean u shape, just at a angle to the two downtubes.

The guy that did the build wrote to me. It was a poorly done 70's chop on an unknown frame and he did some mods to the frame to give it it's unique lines. The build can proceed!
Thanks Ole T for the input,
Lonn
It kinda looks like an old D+D from the late 70's or so.They used to build frames primarily for 750 Hondas.I believe they knocked some out for Ironheads also.
