PIcked this up in a trade yesterday, and have quickly fell in love with it, unfortunitely the old lady not so much. Regardless, here is a little info on it, although some of you may be familiar. Let me know your thoughts, and if you have any idea, what YOU think the value of it may be. The bike has approx 50 miles on it. The rotors still have cross hatching on them.
The bike is a kit bike that was made back in '05. It was designed by John Reed, and put into production by D&D and Custom Chrome. To the best of my knowledge, only 500 or so kits were made, and I have been told only 4 are on the West Coast. Who knows how true or accurate it is.
Specs:
110 cubic inch RevTech engine
6-speed RevTech overdrive transmission with close-ratio first gear
Santee rubbermount open cradle frame
Carbon fiber front and rear fenders
Paioli Meccanica adjustable inverted forks
Progressive Suspension adjustable shock absorbers
Brembo brake calipers-dual front and single rear
Brembo 13" floating front brake rotors
Goodridge stainless steel brake lines
Custom Chrome 'Contour' handlebar controls
One-piece color coded wiring harness
17" Marchesini forged alloy wheels
Avon Azaro 120/70ZR x 17" front tire
Avon Azaro 170/60ZR x 17" rear tire
Custom Chrome Regency gas tank
D&D 2-into-1 exhaust system
