does anyone know of, or has heard of, anyone installing the tc96a in an evo frame?
I started this project with just the tc96 from a 2010 road glide last december and am still working on it.
I am putting it in an ultima 200 frame and have reached the point of running the electric. I'd like to know if there's anyone who's already done this and pick their brain about it.
the motor came with the 58 mm screamin eagle throttle body so I decided to grit my teeth and keep the EFI; the idea being an old school chopper with state of the art Harley engineering. Plus with the electronic throttle there are no cables cluttering up the bars. I think the 58mm is too big for the factory cams, but if the thing actually runs I plan to upgrade the cams and have the heads worked.
I've been planning to run the thundermax ecm, and just got a reply from them that it won't work. I have to talk to them in greater detail next week because I'm not convinced in won't work.
This is why I've posted this thread, because if there's someone who's been through this it might save me some time!
