Default Wheel adapter

Any one ever heard of an adapter to convert a rear rim to front use? For the 84-99 Softail rims. My understanding is the only difference between the two in the hub is off set to accommodate the rear pulley. Just wanted to know if such beast existed before mocking one up.

Default Rear as a front 16

I dont think there will be a problem as long as you are using dual front disc's, I have seen allot of rims with out tires and it appears the hub is centered on the wheel. But for looks you will need 2 rotors to cover the hub holes.

Think you mean single disk there bud , only difference front & rear is the flange offset distance on one side for the rear pulley and the bolt holes are much larger so you can't run a second rotor . I'm nor even sure if the pattern is the same diameter or a bit larger for the pulley holes .
Just center up the wheel in the front end and make sure the rotor side is toward the leg with caliper on it . Worse case would shim the rotor a bit to center up in the caliper if it's off to much and they do make those . There's covers like a hub cap to cover the pulley bolt holes too .

I did this once. I put fatboy wheels on my 85 flh. The hubs are offset. I had the hub milled on one side and added it back on the other side with shims, this allowed me to run dual diskand it line the rotors up in the calipers. I also used helicoils in the sprocket side of the wheel to match the bolt size, because the sprocket side bolt holes are bigger than the rotor side.
