Default Any Titan riders?

Is anybody here a Titan rider, or know someone who is?
What do you/they think about them?

I test rode a 99 over the weekend and found it too darned heavy and hard to handle .Seemed like it was top heavy. Would,nt feel safe taking it for a cruise in a crowded city.Weight could be from all the chrome ??.Center of gravity ??Probably would,nt own one unless it was for show only.

I have an 02 Phoenix. It is red with tribal flames and everywhere I go people love it. It is pretty quick and handles pretty good. It is lowered compared to a harley, so it does drag alot around turns, but I usually ride sportbikes so I push it harder than most harley riders.

A friend has one great looking bike but he had alot of electrical problems with it. Rarely would we ride that we didn't have to jerry-rig something on it.

I've got 98 Sidewinder that has a 96" & a 5 sp. Its got a little over 21K miles on it w/no issues. Only problem I've had is w/intake manifold gaskets & the Samson pipes that were on it when I got it that didn't have any baffles in it & needed a little tweeking. The bike handles great and is strong. Only complaint has been finding little parts like kickstand springs that fit. Don't bother trying to get info from Titan or even Daytec on the frames or fitment of parts for the bikes! Good luck!

I had an 00 Gecko and it seemed like it was too much trouble to keep running. Always seemed to be something not quite right. Sold it for a Sports Car and sold the car for my 06 Fatboy.

Wow, sounds like a good track record for Titan. Note to self, make sure to add Titan to my shopping list. Check Big Dog & AIH, I hear they have good customer support and at least they have a decent amount of dealers throughout the US. Good Luck.

I got Titans, Von Zipper Bobber. It's a nice looking bike and it gets a lot of looks, but to be frank, I wouldn't buy another bike from Titan if I had the plague and they were the only cure. Tried to get some minor warranty work done and they gave me the run around. Promised to send parts and didn't, etc. Their 6 month warranty is a joke! Avoid!
