Bleach White or a very similar product is available at Auto Zone, etc. I belong the the Early Ford V-8 Club and that's what everyone uses on their wide whites. Usually need no scrubbing, just be sure to rinse well.

SOS pads! (the same ones you use to scrub your pots & pan) I've tried the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers but found that they fell apart quickly and really didn't remove much of the brake dust. I also don't want to put a ton of elbow grease into it. With the SOS pads I just wet down the tire and the pad and then spin my tire around. Come out looking better than when I brought her home! I've also heard that wiping baby oil on the white walls will help prevent them from turning yellow/dingy or cracking. I haven't tried that yet but I probably will.

Mr Clean has introduced a stronger (longer lasting) Eraser.
Baby Oil? I would say everything that comes in contact with your tire is going to stick to it.

I also tried Mr. Clean Magic Eraser with awesome results for my Deluxe. But being a perfectionist, as I am always labeled, I cleaned them a second time with a rag and Westleys White Wall Cleaner. Almost, if not as, good as new!!

a while back I took my bike in to the dealer to get new cams and true dual headers put on and since I spent so much money they detailed my bike for me and when I picked it up I couldn't believe how white they got my whitewalls. I mean extremely white - they were whiter and brighter than when I got it brand new. And this is after 7500 miles on these tires and they were glowing. So I asked what they used and they very reluctantly told me of this contact and circuit board cleaner by Wurth Sabesto. They reluctantly told me beacuse this stuff is extremely flammable and one of their employeed caught his hand on fire from the product sparking off of some electrical current that it picked up from a bike. So since this stuff worked so good I has to get some and it took searching high and low but I finally found some at a mercedes-benz dealership of all places. It is a German product and you can't believe how easy this stuff is to use and how great it works. All you have to do is spray some on a rag or towel and wipe the whitewall before the stuff dries on the rag (this stuff is fast drying) and everything comes right off. No scrubbing no back breaking work - Just spray on a rag and wipe on the whitewall and everything comes off and your left with perfectly white whitewalls. I included some pictures of the bottle that I was able to locate at the car dealership. I will never scrub another whitewall again. This stuff is amazing.

I use an old wash mitt with some Wesley's Bleeche White. Hose off the loose dirt on the tire, then generously spray Wesley's on the tire...let it set for a minute or so, then scrub it off with the mitt...rinse again. You'll also want to wipe down the wheel with some cleaner to neutralize the Bleeche White because it can be corrosive.
