Paint correction
Anybody here do paint correction? I'm new to my bike and bikes in general, but I used to be an avid car detailer. I have a Griots Garage 6" orbital polisher. I'm wondering if anyone actually uses a machine buffer or just do it by hand. My bike is black and already has a ton of defects from the dealership, I'm planning on correcting soon, mostly the tank and rear fender.
I too have done a lot of auto detailing and I find that Harley's have soft clearcoat. Start with a light pad and light cutting compound and see how it works out. I usually use an orange cutting pad and Meguair's light cut compound. I will put the heavy cut on if it's a bad scuff.
