For you guys that get streaks or greasy results using Pledge you are probably using too much.
Just spray your cloth and wipe the bike, you just need a little.

This hits most of the food groups...
Ancient thread resurrection, noobs, pledge, middle of winter posting...

Simply put, pledge is the cialis for cleaning, it gets the job done

I remember a lot of car show guys using the stuff back in the late sixties.
I never tried it on my bike. I use Mequires cleaner-wax on my black Vette and always been happy with the results.

Now,how is it on polished aluminum? Might be nice to not be constantly repolishing.

I have been using it for years as well. If you are spraying it straight to the bike it will be very greasy. Spray it on to a clean microfiber cloth and then apply it. Just like on furniture, it's less greasy if you wipe it on vs. spraying it on. The rag absorbs a lot of the greasiness.

just tried it for the first time.

my king has gone over 1k since any sorta wash. bout 75 miles in the rain, and a few times outside in the rain.

the violet pearl looked like ****,and the crome was all spotty..

20 min with some walmart pledge and a few clean rags, and it looks great.

its a 97, and i am in no way **** enough, or willing to spend two hours to wash it and detail it during the season. and i doubt it wouldlook this good.

Hey if it worked in the 70's why wouldn't not work now? It's just great to use in-between real waxes, cheers
