i just got some but haven't used it yet... they didn't have any bug slide... hope is the same
Nope.
I have some top shelf waterless stuff, but it doesn't and wasn't made to cut bugs. Bugs need a solvent that is a little higher octane than what you'll find a waterless wash.
I've found a lot of bug and tar removers work, and work great. Recently, I was in a Chemical Guys store and picked up their orange Bug and Tar remover. It works as good as any I've tried. If my fairing is loaded, I spray it down, let it soak for a bit and then wipe it off. After I get all the bugs off, I'll do a once over with a waterless wash that also acts as a gloss enhancer.
I like it. Works just like Bug Slide in my experience. In fact the parts guy at the dealership I bought mine at said it comes from a guy who was formerly associated with Bug Slide in some way. I dunno, but it works fine.

I used it yesterday for the first time.... not impressed.. the spray bottle is cheaply made.. the product doesn't smell as good and it doesn't leave the surface slippery .... I'll be sticking with Bug Slide
