Not a bike but I thought I would just put it here instead of messing up there other thread.

I have done the owner;s Hellcat, Track Hawk, and now the Demon. About 2 months ago he brought it over and I gave him a price. He then took me for a quick ride and my goodness this thing is crazy fast. Hit 2nd at 60 and broke the tires loose. Pretty sure he has something "Extra" done.
The color is Destroyer Gray, his Track Hawk was Rhino. Very cool colors but a huge PIA to work on. Its hard to explain but basically you cant see ****.
I have worked on many different vehicles, from super hard paint to super soft. This one, is like concrete. Flex 3401, wool pad and Menzerna FG 400 is what it took to get it the swirls and most of the RIDS out. It is far from perfect, but he does drive it so we decided to stop there.
The car is optioned out with the factory roll bar, 5pt harness, and the matte hood, roof and trunk lid.
Steps
Washed. Decon. Covered all the matte up. Taped around the plastic. Test spot. Test spot. Test spot
Flex, wool pad, FG 400
G9 orange pad Menzerna Power Finish
G9 CarPro gloss pad, CarPro Reflect
Eraser wipe down 2X
The following have NOT been done in the picture yet
22PLE Insanity. 2 coats
CarPro DLux on the plastic
22PLE Rim coat. Wheels off

Im really bad about remembering to take pictures during it all. The owner is in no hurry to get it back, which is really nice, so Ive taken some.
Hopefully the sun will come out after the car is done and really show off the gloss.
I have some pictures of the "Before" I started. It was pretty swirled up but the color hid it well

Here it is all done. 22 hours into the paint. 5 hours into the wheels. Owner was thrilled with it, so was I and the wife is glad to have her parking spot in the garage back

Thanks guys. I wouldnt mind owning it either. Dam thing breaks the tires loose at 60mph. It is an absolute animal. Dam race car you could have just bought from the dealer. Im not a mopar guy but I sure appreciate what they have done lately with their specialty vehicles.

The 22hrs was over a week. Regular job during the day, then come home and work on it. Wife was fine with it, the 115lb puppy, not so much

Its not all work for sure. I enjoy the transformation and like watching the owners reaction.
Ill admit that the car fought me the whole way. Everything just seemed to take longer. Having to cover the matte paint and being extra careful around it took some extra time.I told my wife many times how much I dislike matte paint

I still cant believe how hard the paint was.
