is simple green ok to use on the bike, paint, chrome, and black motor??? Will it take off the wax, or is it wax safe??? Whats better S100 or Simple green or something better to keep the shine, and balck looking black not gray.
You can use simple green on the motor and tires. It's really good with white walls. Don't use on paint or chrome it's a degreaser and it will remove the wax. Wal Mart sells a product in the RV section called Protectall. It's also been advertised in some bike mags. It is excellent for chrome, paint. You can also use some of the detail sprays between washes.
Simple green also works well on the chrome & windshield,. I get over spray on the paint but I was it off righht away its all good, I love the stuff, non toxic, thats good for me! I hate chemicals!
If you want your black to look black, you have to put something on it every now and then. Either S100 Engine Brightener or Pig Spit is what you want. I used the S100 for years and then tried Pig Spit. I think it is actually better than S100. The bonus is that it comes in a much larger can for less bucks....FYI, some Walmart stores carry it.

I was out at Home Depot tonight and there are at least 6 "simple green" products - all of them, yes all of them say do not get on leather [stuff] or plastic. OK, this is not working for me. Looks like I can use it on tire and wheels but nothing else without long term damage.
