I wash mine, clay it sometimes, then hit with the G8 mini 3" polisher. I use Griot's pads and Boss polihes. I'll hit the chrome with the polisher and some Blue Magic. Then waterless wash or just detail spray in between washing. It stays real pretty.

One of the benefits Eagle pointed out that you’ll realize now is the ease in washing…. When a bike is sealed or coated… washing is easier… any way you do it

I dont use clay anymore, a clay mitt. Much faster then clay and if Im using that, Im breaking out the 3401 on the paint
eaglefan1 do you have a preference for clay mitts ? I’ve never tried one

Anyone from auto geek or detailed image will work, I can't remember which one I have. I use the mitt on cars and trucks, little bulky for a bike but they would do the job

I have always used the 2-bucket method to wash my bike and I used Turtle wax once a year. 3.5-year-old 2018 FLHCS (Heritage) with 24.5k miles. I noticed how crummy my paint finish looked when I got back from my annual Florida trip about 2-weeks ago. A few scratches, deposits (from oil, tar, etc.) and oxidation were very evident. I used Meguiar's Ultimate Compound and Liquid Wax hand-applied and wiped off with micro-fiber towels. Stuff is very easy to use, but the process is time consuming, nevertheless. Bike looks great now.
