Default Badly pitted wheels

Started polishing the rear wheel , unfortunately the widening left a lot of small pits. Guess the only thing left , would be to paint it ?

bought the bike as you see it.
After removing the rear wheel to start polishing it - i noticed the evidence of a wheel that was chopped and welded in a section to widen it.
Guess it was a normal sized rim, modified to take a 240 wide tyre.
Will have the tyre dismounted tomorrow, and post some more pics.

Sounds like a good reason to get rid of it.

I would have to make damn sure that is safe to ride ! Maybe find out who did the mod and what their work looks like.

As far as the pits go i would think powder coating would be a way to go. Powder would fill them in.
