frankly, if you're looking to keep it somewhat simple. some plain ole dish soap. just don't let it dry on the bike. Presoak, suds up using the 2-bucket method, rinse/ wash. and make sure you rewax or apply some sort of paint sealant/ protection after you dry the bike as the dish soap will have stripped off all the wax.
also it would be a good time to clay bar and/ or polish your paint before you rewax.

I spray peroxide on the fairing, forks and lights. Let that eat the bugs for a few minutes then lay a wet towel across the fairing for about 20 minutes and the bugs come of pretty easy. Or s bottle of bug remover for painted front end and s100 for everything else. Then just wash and dry with car soap
what you are looking for sounds like a prewash....i was looking for the same thing for exactly what you describe
I know how to properly wash a bike, rinseless, waterless, two bucket...but like you, there were trips that left the bike filthy
I went with a simple hand pump foaming gun and a product called Lift by CARPRO. Mix 10:1 , and foam up the bike...DO NOT PRERINSE, don't touch the bike, just let it dwell for a couple of minutes being sure not to let the foam dry and then rinse thoroughly
Lift is made to do just what it's called, by letting it dwell for a bit, it lifts some of the dirt and grim off of the bike, this lets you remove a lot of contaminants safely without marring the surface
what you are doing is reducing the effort you'll have to put in when you properly wash it....after thoroughly rinsing it off, I blew it dry and then treated it like it was still a dirty contaminated bike
Bilt Hamber makes a well regarded prewash as well
I used an IK Foam Pro 2
this is now a part of my arsenal, i used it when the bike is super contaminated, and as a first step in a full detail
Plus one for the Carpro Lift. Carpro Reset is a great wash too for your bucket/contact wash I haven't tried it in a cannon yet..., a 30$ foam cannon (or like this guy said, a pump action foam sprayer) has been my favorite detailing toy over the last year. I will be doing a full 2 stage correction and ceramic coat on my RKS this winter, hoping to get rid of all them spider web scratches on my vivid black
