hey all it streetglider here with a question about cleaning i intend to use the bike quite abit, any advise about cleaning the bike would be well appreciated. thanks all
soft sheepskin mitt a deep bucket and dont let thae mit fall to the bottom and pick up the dirt.blow off with compressed air or bike dry not a leaf blower.and welcome to the forum
story has it that a leaf blower will emitt gas and oil when used, and acually compressed air will spit out water and stuff too. i really dont think it will hurt the paint especially if you keep it wased. to be safe you can use a cycle dryer and it works very well for 40 bucks. good luck!!
Cycle dryers actually filter the air - a leaf blower, although effective, - can hurl fine particles against your beautiful paint causing a sandblasted effect. Just depends how **** you want to be, I suppose. I went the cycle dryer route and am very happy with it.
I've seen the small blowers work and they seem to do the job well. Better than compressed air too. All you need is a small flaw or chip in the paint and you can blow off more paint with the compressed air.
