Default Newbie question

Can I clay bar and wax my headlight fairing the same way I do the rest of the bike? Or do I need another product for plastic?

I assume that gloss on the fairing is paint so you should be able but I would try something less aggressive first. Paint on plastic can be pulled away by clay so it takes a very gentle hand and a lot of patience.

I'd be more inclined to use a spray detailed or maybe Maguiers scratch formula before deploying clay. JMO.

Yes but don't. Clay will scratch the paint and then you need to machine polish. Just wash and apply wax by hand if you aren't prepared for all that. I have clay and clay lube and never seem to use it. The bike stays in the garage most of the time and doesn't need it.

You can certainly wax it but my question would be why does it need clayed? Clay is like the emergency room. Great when you need it, pointless when you don't. Now if you have bumps or embedded contaminants, that's another story.
