Been using it forever,....on my real leather,.....and when I had rice,.....I'd use it on the pleather.
I still ain't found anything that comes even close to a good ole can of cheap **** vasaline on my tour pak,...bags,....coats ,...etc,.......I had people tell me it was a petroleum product,...and it would destroy the leather.............pfffftt,.........I used it on my baseball glove when I was a kid,...and IT's Still Around!
Smear the stuff all over my bags in the hot sun,...it kinda melts,....then pass it all over with my hand,...then wipe excess off with a towel. friggin unbelievable shine!! Lasts a long time too.
interesting! I guess you always have a jar handy?
now that you mentioned it I now notice in your sig pic how freaking nice your bike leather looks.
a black laquered baby grands got nothin on that shine.
yep,......that pic was taken about 4 hours after,.......I love the stuff on a good sunny day. in the winter,.....I do it in my shed with the heater on. I do love me some shiny leather[8D][8D]
Most leather these days are covered in a vinyl film. Also a petroleum based product. Doubt vaseline will hurt it althrough I'd worry about the stiching.
