Ex-Navy guy here(USS Forrestal CV-59) and was a Quartermaster to boot so polishing brass was second nature to me. I've never used the stuff on chrome myself and have seen it scratch stainless steel and brass if you rub to hard. My dad keeps some Turtle wax chrome polish at the shop so I have just been using that and it seems to work well. Glass cleaner does good also, I've read that using regular was on chrome is not good though so I dont do that. I am a Army Guard guy now and the Army dont seem to know what Neverdull is, they or atleast my unit uses mineral spirits.

I use commercial grade zep glass cleaner on chrome. cleans good and doesn't streak

I use it to remove the little specks of road tar on my 80 spoke wheels and I also use it on my Rinehart pipes to remove the little specks of melted tar, grime and dirt and the stuff works great. I just rub it in and it just instantly breaks the specks off the chrome and then I just wipe it off with a cloth and the chrome shines brilliantly...I wouldn't recommend any other thing for polising chrome on bikes...

Used Never-Dull in the military for 23 years and on my bikes for just as long, love the stuff

The last time I used neverdull it looked like there were little seeds imbedded in the cotton. I do not use it because of that.

Old thread. I got a 20 year old can. Takes a lof patience, and you got to keep coming back every few minutes to see if you got it all.

As far as the 15 year old question, if the chrome did rub of, maybe cause the guy was cleaning lots of dirt off, which is abraisive, or he was rubbing it off to much.
