Default Brasso

Is it OK to use Brasso on the Alloy SG wheels?

Seem to have a lot of stains / marks on the polished Ali sections that is refusing to come off....will Brasso work well?

I guess no one really knows eh?!

In case it helps, it actually seemed to work fine when I used it and most marks came off.

Do the wheels have a clear coat on them?

I use Nevrdull made by Eagle 1 and then follow up with a coat of Turtle Wax Chrome polish for protection. Love the stuff for getting water stains off the mags and my polished aluminum.

The Brasso should work well as I think that they are basically the same.

I asked because some of the cast or alloy wheels has a clear coat over them.. What year is your bike... I am not saying you have the clear coat but how you clean the wheels is different
depending if you have the clear coat or not...

If I remember right, Brasso says not to use on aluminium. I think it can cause corrosion.
