Lexol, It is a conditioner and cleaner. You can get it at a tandy leather store. or at http://www.tandyleather.com It works great on leather it is what professionals use.
I also use Lexol leather conditioner, its the best stuff I've ever used. Great on jackets too. It comes in a little brown bottle for about $8.00. You can find it in almost any leather or tack shop. For cleaning I use BlueMagic leather cleaner because it was tested as having the lowest pH of all cleaners. (I think Lexol has a good cleaner too).
oh and for really dried leather, I recomend 1# saddle oil it's by BEE NATURAL. But test it first some oils will change the color, making it darker . Only lexol will not change the color. and most important do not over oil or condition. Here in Arizona this can be a major problem. Adding oil is like putting suntan lotion on and can cause the leather to burn.
I've had good results with mink oil, apply, let sit 20-30 mins then buff. I've heard some people apply then heat slightly with a hair dryer, this causes the oil to soak into the leather. Either way, it will offer good protection against sun/rain.
To go along with the topic how does everyone clean the bugs and junk off their jacket. Will the leather cleaners do a good job at get off bug guts and what not?
I use this stuff called simco leather furniture cleaner and protectant. It goes on with a soft cloth in a cirrcular motion, wait for it to dry to a haze and then wipe it back off with a clean rag.Works wonders on leather and doesn't leave it all slippery and shiny ,just clean and supple. Sorta' like my old lady.

Bickmore products work exceptional for cleaning bugs and protecting. Does NOT leave a shine on your leather. You can find it at any tack shop, pretty cheap too.Bick1 works great to clean bugs. I also use Bick4 for my bags and the tonneau cover on my truck. Tim
