I wet a towel with just water, lay it across the windshield for about 15 minutes. When you finish washing the rest of the bike, all the bugs are soft and just wipe off. You dont have to worry about scratches or products being compatible with the Lexan. Windshield is clean, it is easy and scratch free.

tlsmith22 has it right. I do use the Harley Polish on mine too. It seems to actually help prevent scratches. Do not ever use Windex or the stuff in the tanks at the gas station.

Novus does a great job. it removes the bugs, shines the shield, and fills any tiny scratches all in one easy application.

I carry a spray bottle of it and a Microfiber towel in the tour pak just to clean the windshield when I am on the road.

couple squirts, and wipe it down.

I use the S100 detail spray and a microfiber towel. Dissolves the bugs and puts a layer of wax so the next time they come off even better. Does not scratch or harm the windshield.

Simple soap and water... the same stuff you would wash the bike with. After it is washed and dry, apply a coat of soft wax. Any liquide wax will do, like Turtle wax. Polish the wax, and it will be easier to clean the more you do it.
