I use Simple Green full strength. Works great, especially on tires.

I've been using the simple green since the post on 6/1. I cut it 1-1 and only leave it on for a couple of minutes then rinse well. I have the silver engine and have had no problems. Last night came in after long ride, part through rain. Took about 20 minutes to wash and dry. Now having said this I, I polish often and use harley polish and glaze.

I use it on the engine, wheels/tires, frame and undercarriage. I do not use it on the tins at all. I read somewhere a few years back that it will strip the wax right off. I guess it's ok if you are one of those people who waxes everytime they wash.

Works great on spoked wheels. Cut it 1-1, spray on, rinse off. I use an old windex bottle to spray it. Gets all brake dust and road grit right off and leaves the wheel looking brand new.

I have a 2006 RK Classic with laced wheels. Is simple geen safe to use
on them? If it gets on the white walls, does it discolor them?

Do I dilute it 50/50 with water?

Thanks!

I've been told several times to avoid using Simple Green around electronic connectors and fittings - seems this makes sense if they're not waterproof and the SG gets into the contacts it could likely corrode the metals in the connectors. Found it works pretty good on my 03 RKC gangsta whitewalls (but soft scrub comet cleanser works better).

I dunno... 10 minutes?...If its on my bike for 2, thats a long time...I spray it on, when I get to the end of the bike, I do the other side, then hose it off...I wouldn't leave any degreaser on for 10 minutes. It would most likely dry on the bike and look nasty as well.
Yeah, I use the stuff full strength. Spray the bike down with the hose first...Then use a spray bottle to hit the areas that need it. When I've done that I hit it again with the hose. No problems in 13+ years. Now that the damn base gasket (or rockerboxes) don't leak, I'll probably just use it on the wheels/tires.

Now if ya wanna mess up your aluminum...Use Castrol Super Clean...This stuff IS corrosive!!!!!!!!!!
