Default Corn Starch on Chrome

Anyone tried this trick?I use it on my car.I keep a cheap soft glove in a tupperware bowl full of Corn Starch,When I need to clean my chrome I put the glove on and rub the starch on the chrome and it will instantly remove any fingerprints or smudges. The best part is you can just blow off the rest.It will leave a deep shine. Dont let it get wet obviously cause it will make a mess. I havent used polish since I was turned on to this trick.

Neat idea...thanks for sharing. The question about rust pops up in my mind though if you NEVER wax. Is it a problem, or do most of you polish once a year or what? Art

Corn starch or flour...either works really good on chrome and polished surfaces. Cleans off all kinds of grease, oil, prints, etc. and leaves a nice shine with no scratching. Hi-Rollers can use Self-Rising flour.

Also works well to remove that dried on paste wax that you forgot when you went in for a beer that you just can't get off now!
