XL 1200 C back rims...
My sporty has the slotted rear rims kinda like fat boy rims...only with slots...what is the best cleaner? The middle part is rough finish aluminum but the outer parts are shiny polished like chrome...it may seem like an obvious question but I really don't want to use the wrong procedure and screw them up. Any advice would be appreciated.

Between washes, I use brake cleaner to get the crud off, then I go back with S100 metal corrosion protection. Don't let the brake dust stay on them for a long time, they will corrode on you.
