Default Clear coat problem

I have a small chip in my clear coat on the front fender (02 FLHTC), now removing the fender and having it repainted is not possible now. What I need to know is there something I can applyto stop theclear coat from flaking off?

Harley dealer will have a touch up kit for your particular color.

If its just the clear coat, A small amount of clear fingernail polish should seal it till you get it fixed

I found a tube clear coat touch up paint atPep Boys. It works well. Jike dab it on until you you get it to fill in the ding (it may take a couple of applications) thentake some 1000 grit sand paper and wet sand the spot to level it out. Then polish your spot. wax your fender and your done. You'll neverknow there was a problem.
