Mine still has the stock intake (for now) short shots standard baffle and power vision tuner. Short shots will fit no problem and look good too. I'm most likely ordering quiet baffles for my pipes. As far as the stock pipe it will never sound like you want it with the cat in place. You either need to gut that cat or replace the full exhaust. I swapped slip on and didn't like it so I opened up the baffle in that pipe and although better, still not to my liking. I suggest just swapping the whole system considering you said you aren't too big on the 2-1.
heres my 2014.5 with short shots.fyi j and p cycles site said they would not fit. i bought mine off fleabay for 280 bucks.im going to run a dk custom air intake. i like the 90 degree elbow with exposed filter myself.
I called V&H yesterday and they said the only thing that would fit is their pro-pipe or whatever that really long thing is.
Never cared for the look of supertrap/nitghstick.
I'd love to put short shots on. Do you guys have a part number?
Can't find anything on the web that says it will fit.
I'd rather do the whole system than just a slip on. Need to figure out the exhaust first as the intake and efi controlers have many options.
Sounds like a sewing machine now
The short shots will fit no problem. But vance and Hines has not yet mounted a set to a low rider so they won't officially tell you it will fit. Mine are actually a set for 06-11 dynas I had to buy o2 bung adapters but that's it everything else fits perfect.
