Default Check engine light on after pipe install

Hey guys installed my thunderheader and big sucker today on my 14 low rider and all went well so I thought, even the o2 sensors came off and went on smooth but after I was done and started her up and the check engine and oil lights came on and won't go off, I plan on putting my power vision on in the morning with the help of fuel moto whom I bought the pv from! Will putting the tune on help the check engine and oil lights go off? Has anyone had this issue before? How do I find the codes for what's wrong? Any and all help is appreciated

No sure why you are getting a light unless the bike is just so lean the o2 sensors have told the computer something is wrong. You can use your PV to check the codes. Adding the tune should also help with your problem

Can't figure out what would cause the oil light to stay on.

Let me correct myself, the oil light does go off after the bike is started but the check engine light stays on

The oil light should come on when you turn the key on and go off a few seconds after the engine is started. If it stays on, there might be an issue.

ther will be a screen to read the codes on the PV itself. FM will help you find that, and they will tell you what the code means and how to clear that code .

Oil light is normal when you turn the ignition on aslong as it goes off a couple seconds later when u start the bike. Not sure about the check engine light. Keep us posted with an update when u figure out what it is.

I highly suspect the O2 sensors were not reconnected properly.
