Vdop,
The bike has a power vision tuner. Made a big difference in how it ran. Can the PV turn on the acr.? If so I can contact them.
I can also call the dealer.
Thanks for the help,
Roger
With my tts every time a program the ecm I automatically get the option to enable/disable ACR or a no change box. They are on by default. Unless you accidentally disabled them, then they are on and always have been. By default be from Harley or Dynojet!!
Check your battery. You are barking up the wrong tree.
HD,
Did as you recommended and the ACR is on. I then pressed save to make sure.
I guess I will have to live with the hesitation upon starting--- but it always starts.
Thanks for the help.
Roger
Sly,
All checks out so far. ACR is on and my battery is fine.
What does CCA mean and can it be changed. Or is it something I have to live with.
Maybe the oem battery is just not strong enough to initially kick over the 103.?
Thanks,
Roger

The CCA ( cold crank amps) need to be able to hold 250 min with load. A carbon pile tester or the dealer can verify that. I still believe that is your issue. Many others including myself have had similar issues with battery as cause.

Sly,
Been thinking of a change battery any how. Was thinking of lithium, but there is still a debate. Any suggestions for battery- type and brand and where to purchase.
Thanks,
Roger

Any agm battery with at least 300cca should be fine. Yausa, HD, whatever just avoid Walmart. Just be sure its agm. Also check your connections prior to be sure a cable or ground didn't come loose.

Sly,
Just ordered Yuasa AGM cca 310 . Ordered from Amazon. Got the best reviews by far.
Connections on my existing oem are very good and firm. Worse comes to worse I am out $90 and have a spare.
Thanks,
Roger

Sounds like good choice. If you have a tender or small 2amp or less charger hook it up before install to be sure its fully charged. Also if you don't have a tender get one.
