IMO, the small streamlined shields do a good job of keeping the wind off your chest, and bugs out of your eyes, but if you are over 5'-9" they can create head buffeting. With a full face helmet, or 3/4 and face shield it's not bad, but with a 1/2 helmet it will shake your head/glasses pretty much once you get over 50mph (adds fatigue). Over 70mph I can't wait to slow down. Under 50mph they are great!.

What I found helpful with the flyscreen is you can adjust the angle of the shield and somewhat control were the wind is deflected.

I have the Flyscreen too, and am quite happy with it. It looks like it's too small to do anything, but it does. An added benefit is that there's no buffeting behind it. That buffeting/vibration drove me crazy with larger windshields.

Well I'm only 5'7 so should be good. I'm still going to play with my current set up, I do like it despite the heavy feel. I haven't done any long rides recently so I've been riding without it.
