I have a 03 SG and with the Screaming Eagle stage carb work and the V&H Pipes I wound up with a much quicker bike than stock. Is the FI version even faster than that?

Idk what the power difference between the 103 and I'm guessing the 88 on the SG? All I know is that it is a completely different bike than the day I rode it off the showroom floor.

Isn't that due to emissions laws? New cars and bikes have to be clean and low powered to make the EPA happy. Tuners increase power with increased emissions.

I was expecting a little HP again, but I wasn't expecting to be almost thrown off the back of the bike when I ripped the throttle open! It even sounds meaner...if this is stage 1, I can only imagine what some engine mods would do.
just curious, did this affect your fuel mileage much, also is it fairly easy to set up?

It came preset with a typical stage 1 config for my model year, then a little bit of tweaking to dial out some decel popping. I was actually surprised, never messed with a tuner before and was expecting it to be a bit of a job. Install and program tweak took around 30min.
As far as mpg, idk yet. Filled up right after I installed it, still on the same tank.

They have an interactive demo on the website.

I went from a Stage I to a Stage 4 and while I was expecting a performance jump was surprised at how much of a difference it made not only on the performance numbers but how the cam changes made such a difference in how I ride now. In true cruiser fashion run in the mid 3K to keep the torque up so when I want to jump on it responds very crisply. Dyno numbers is my sig line.

Jesus...some of you guys are making me really want to start some engine mods. Starting with cams...maybe a winter project. I've got some other cosmetics I want to do too. It's always a battle between performance mods and cosmetic mods for me, haha.

Yeah that really does help, but if you want to nearly feel your eyeballs hitting the back of your skull install the HD SE 204 cams.
