My advice is to search craigslist in your home town, or next closest large town for Dyna, Streetbob, and Street Bob...along with FXDB. Its free to search, you can see some of the optional colors and accessories like bags, crash bars, pegs, seats, etc. I would even say to push the searcg out to about 400-600 miles away, again, its free and markets are different. I am in Tulsa, OK and Street Bobs run from $8000-full retail. If I search out to say, Dallas, then the price will soften to $6500-6750 up to full retail. Financing is another issue, not so much an issue, but, consider you can get a new bike for 0.9% with nothing down. I myself, am a fan of used bikes. I was looking hard at Street Bobs but, ended up with a wrecked, older FXDWG (it has a carb) that will provide the basis for my custom version of a Super Glide (its going to be a modern Midnight Express)....I will post pics once its all together.
