I'd imagine if you called the shop you plan on using they could give you some insight .

I pulled my forks myself and carried them in to my local indy shop. He charged me $150 to replace the seals and refill with fork oil.

If you're in for life consider doing it yourself. There are a couple good tutorials out there. Take advantage of what a Harley is, antiquated. That makes them very easy to work on. Do it once and that'll be something else you don't need somebody for.

About $50 if you do it yourself. It really isn't that difficult. Just seems like it.

around $25 for OEM seals, $15 for fork oil, a couple of beers, and a couple hours of your time...

Agreed. DIY.

My 49mm tubes on my '07 FXDL required the purchase of 2 qts of $15 fork oil. Also, my springs were the stiffest and hardest fork springs I have ever encountered. Coming off the caps put a ding in the ceiling and it was a real two man job screwing them back on. Other than that... piece of cake.

if your lowers are not coated i offer a full tear down and rebuild after coating. on most bikes and set ups for $125 we will break down your lowers and re assemble them after coating (coating cost is additional) this includes new seals, crush washers, and spectro fork oil (weight of your choice) it is a great way to get the part and bolt it right back on your bike. our costs are also about $100 under what most places charge but we do not have to remove the front wheel or fender etiher. just an idea if you would like to that way

Joe, will you ship (for an extra fee of course)? That is a hell of a deal by the way!
