Colorite works for me. I have painted my headlight bucket, my friends think it is factory painted. Some ppl don't understand, spray bomb and spray gun are different animal, different air pressure will slightly change the color. Of coz I am not taking about big panel paint matched, even a very good painter can't match 100% on some color, especially pearl color. Unfortunately I am not a painter, a $15 spray bomb does work for me.

Any auto finish paint store can put a base coat in a rattle can for you. If ppg, Dupont,Sherwin Williams, etc make a base color to your paint code they can put in an aerosol. The biggest part to match is using the correct color primer as a base and using a good clear such as sem clear. Its not that much though to have a shop do the work. $150-200 for tins is about going rate when I got my old bike done. He had to use a black primer for the pewter pearl and they matched perfectly.

Eastwood Epoxy Primer in a can, activate it, shake it and go. Topcoat with what-ever. Works great for cases too. Don't know if I would use it on cylinders, I'm too lazy to do things twice.
