Talking New pipes!
Just got through putting on a set of V&H short shots. Got em for a steal on craigslist...couple dings, but nothing major. Only got a chance to take it around the block, but I'm diggin the sound...really deep and throaty! That being said, if anyone's interested in some cycle shack slip ons, I got em posted over in the classifieds.

What baffles are in them? I almost regretted buying them until I got the quiet baffles in them!

Not the quiet ones...she's loud.

I'm with you on this. My bike came with short shots and standard baffles. A bit too loud for me. Swapped in the quiet baffles, which btw, are not quiet, and I'm much happier. Deep and still loud, just not obnoxious.

I actually don't think they're that bad. Then of course I was running no baffles in my slip-ons.

Nice find! I'm considering going back to short shots, I had them on my Nightster with the quite baffels and really liked them.

Yup, the "quiet" baffles are still quite loud if you ask me. But they took the sharpness out of the exhaust note and deepened up the sound while boosting the low end TQ back up a little from switching to such an open pipe. With the quiet baffles I think it just sounds better. my seat-O the pants dyno says the quiet baffles perform slightly better, And still very reasonable while cruising.
