I got some parts powdercoated flat black, the headlight nacelle, crash bar(the lindby linbar only comes in chrome for switchbacks) saddlebag handles and windshield frame to match my Samson exhaust, air cleaner cover and wild1 chubby bars and riser. I am waiting on my custom solo seat from sick saddles to almost finish it off then onto the engine work just in time for Christmas.
Very cool. How do you like those Samson pipes? Is the finish holding up? How is the sound? I'm considering them for my new Wide Glide.
Really impressed with them. I have ran V&H, SE and thunder headers on other bikes and the sound of these are just perfect. They rumble deep but not annoying loud like the thunder headers. I have had them on the bike since I bought it in June and the heat shields still look brand new. Best price I could find was on motoparthub.com for Samson exhausts.

Bike looks really nice Derik! Thanks for sharing the pics and I love the black powdercoat work you've had done, really makes the bike stick out.
We've been doing all of our ceramic coating in house now and are using a new process that has temp ratings up to 1800F and the corrosion resistance testing I have seen done on the product is amazing.
If you ever have any problems with the coating let us know and we will stand behind it and recoat if necessary but haven't had any issues with it.
