I've been eyeballing this Wide Glide on CL for sometime now, but Im a lil puzzled on the year and I believe the owner is also, I've seen it listed as an 96 and a 97 but most of the tanks I've seen painted like this were 95's.
Can anyone help me identify the correct year Please.

 

If the so called owner can`t figure out what model year the bike is, I would be skeptical.

It is on the registration and the title.

 

yea Im not sure what he's deal his, Im thinking he's trying to reach a wider range with the CL search?

 

CL can be sketchy (as we know), but communicate w/seller to have them verify the year. If not, pass and keep look'n - good luck!

 

Check the vin number it's coded by year. Looks like a 94 tank to me

 

Any pics of the handlebar controls? 96-up would have the new style.

Just ask for the VIN, if he won't give it to you...Run
If he does you will know what it is and other manufacture details.
