Thumbs up New Slip-Ons

Finally did something to the bike after a year and a half to make it mine. Thanks to Rusty Cage for the pipes. They sound and look amazing. 2.5" angle cut Cycle Shack's with Cobra baffles. Couldn't be happier!

Thanks. I'm beside myself with it. It was cold today so I had on chaps and a leather jacket and my full face helmet. I couldn't stop grinning when I went for a test ride on it. Haha

Sounds great! We should try and get out again before the next cold snap. I'll be doing a few mods this winter to get ready for Spring, saving $ and collecting parts right now for cam change.

It's supposed to be mid 60's on Tuesday I believe. Sunny. I plan on riding. See if you have anything going on and if not, we should get together and have one last hoorah before winter really sets in.

Nice man. I'm sure you'll like the cams!

That's partly my plan for next year. Once i get my Xterra paid off: full 2-1 exhaust. Air cleaner. Powervision with auto-tune and cams. All before next winter. See how that goes though...Haha

That would be cool, I'll see if I can get the time off work (I should be able to). I've started to collect tools, etc. Got the service manual which you can borrow if you don't have one yet (your's is 2014 right?). Picked up a jack on a great price and made the mods to it for the Dyna's so it's more stable, and will have the bearing install/removal tool shortly for the cam change. So other than parts I can help with tools, and such when you get to the mods.

Wow man. Sounds like you have a really good head start on that project. Mine's a '13 not a '14.

Thanks DK! You'll be who I order my air cleaner from. The 587 in the silver/chrome diamondplate pattern. I fell in love with that!
