Not really any updates.. Not even lame ones haha. I had Kirby order me a s&s teardrop intake and he's going to machine the tb opening to match the tb. As soon as that gets back I'm sending it to powder coat. So I now have my other SE intake up for sale in the classifieds. Ummm. Oh, I ordered my oil pressure gauge and mounting cup, I'm hoping they will be here tomorrow. Ehhhhh.. My brother just came and picked up my pipe, he found a guy in Lodi that is going to black ceramic coat 5 pipes for us at $110 each. I threw in the flanges to have them done as well.. I think that's about it. Last I talked to Kirby he was boring the cases, that was the end of last week so hopefully were getting close.. I'm trying so hard to be patient but it's just not in me haha. It'll all be worth the wait when it's done

Dog pic with my torpedo

The shop is allied coating. $110 seems super cheap so I'm a little weary of how it's going to turn out but for that price screw it. I'm sure it will be better then me rattle canning it

I got my oil pressure gauge Friday and I'm trying to decide how I want to mount it. Here's a few pic what do you guys think?

I think I like this the best, I'll weld the bracket to the speedo bracket and powder coat it

Here another idea, I'd ditch the mounting bracket on the gauge, make a spacer and get a long bolt that will thread back into the speedo mount bracket. Might have clearance issues with the tank tho

Here's the last idea. Zip tie it to the riser tube. Might have clearance issues too

I've wanted to do gauges on top like yours, what parts did you use for that tach/speedo setup, mount and gauges?

It's the kit for the sportsters, it comes with the tach and the bracket and the wiring harness. The plug on the new harness was different then mine so I spliced my plug onto the harness. Super easy and it works great. I mounted mine with the accutronics clamp but if you have actual risers, I think the gauge mount will bolt right up to them.
