See above. I your rear wheel is aligned, forks true in tree, risers straight, and bike track straight when you take your hand off??? Crazy but sounds like ether your seat is not level (one side stiffer) or you are not sitting centered an don't realize it. When you stop, you put both feet down and that automatically centers you the smallest shift on the seat makes a lot of difference.

You can drive yourself (and your mechanic) crazy with this ****.

If there's no negative effect on handling, tire wear, etc., you're counting dancing angels.

I know...but I've ridden a lot of bikes and when my main bitch isn't feeling right, it just keeps bothering me whenever I'm riding. I'll slap on my stock seat just for ***** but I seriously doubt it's somehow the seat putting me off to the side.

Probably normal, if you have a lighter aftermarket exhaust. The primary side of the bike is heavier.

I suffer from OCD which I have stated before on this forum. One of the ways it manifests itself is that everything has to be perfect with my bike, which is why I have two, I have to have a spare one of everything, at one time when I was a working musician I had 7 guitars.
Every bike I've ever owned, I always thought the bars were slightly crooked, and it drove me mad. I used to check and re-check the triple clamps, wheel alignment, etc, until one day I realised that it wasn't the bike at all, it was me. I sat ever so slightly to the left, just enough that when I looked down at the bars, my line of sight would be off centre by half an inch, and it would give the illusion that things weren't straight.

I doubt that your bike is leaning when travelling in a straight line, it's probably more something to do with your body position in my opinion.

I'm not quite as OCD but have run into the same thing on most of my bikes. Why are the bars slightly crooked while I'm running down a straight road? Finally determined that I must sit to one side without realizing it. And if I try consiously to move to other side, the bike leans and heads for the weeds.

Your forks are out (or off) by .2* this is from the factory and set on purpose. Not all bikes are done like that. My softail was and yours may be that way also.

I will admit to being slightly OCD about these things as well, and it's bothered me on all my bikes. However, this bike has driven me nuts with how it was put together from day one. For example the gas tank is measurably crooked. I put it on a lift where the frame was perfectly straight and the tank is not, it leans slightly to one side. I even measured a difference at multiple points on the frame. I think they welded it slightly off.

I have spent a lot of time trying to figure out if the "leaning" has something to do with my seating position, and maybe it is the seat. I'll check it out when I put the stock seat back on. But from day one on this bike I've felt like the whole thing wasn't built straight. I should have taken it back to the dealer early on but I figured it was so insignificant that no tech would notice or think it was abnormal.
