Had time today to install my W158 TTI`s with standard baffle, but needed a few modifications. Removed heat shields. Removed and rotated the baffle and drilled the hole. Intructions call for 3/8" hole in the pipe and baffle but only needed to ream out a 1/4" hole. Reamed existing hole in pipe. Then I had to cut down the bolts on the TTI`s so the heat shields would fit back over. Installed to get the right length, then removed and cut. Had to replace provided lock nuts( too tall ) with same size bottom nuts. Also replaced bottom washers with lock washers. Used blue loctite on both top and bottom nuts.
Anxious to do a few Powervision Autotune runs to see how the VE tables compare with the TTI`s installed.
Took the better half out for a lunch date ride. Since the weather is starting to change here in the mountains it was a pleasant ride; Not too, and not too cold...juuust right!
Put some Michelin commander on the bike today. 200 on the rear 90 90 on the front. I have about 100 miles on the so far and they ride better than stock. Attachment 524889

Not today, but Saturday, replaced the rear brake sending unit/switch. All works OK now. MoCo sure placed the reservoir in the hardest to get to place on the entire bike, but didn't let that stop me from rendering the repair. tp
Bought some ride after I a friend pointed out the amount of wt on my front rim from the factory. Have 1300+ mi since new. I have notice some vibration or maybe it's just the way theFXDC rides?? Will try it out Saturday.
