I bought a 12" set off of a guy on ebay that are 1 1/4" thick and seem to be very comfortable. I haven't rode the bike with the bars on it yet because I'm still working on it during the winter.
I thought at one time the West Coast bars were too narrow so I bought an "off brand" that were 31" wide.
Wasnt long until I realized I hated them. With the pullback the hand position was almost exactly where the stock mini apes were.
Ended up with the straight West Coast T Bars (28" wide) and LOVE them and I wish I didnt have to buy bars twice (not to mention wire them up twice!)
I ended up going with Drag Specialties 12" Buffalo T-Bars. Got 'em cheap and have a buddy who has them and is really happy. They look good and feel good from what I can tell. Now just a matter of getting them wired up.
